Ms. Soumili Das has a rich experience of more than a decade in IP law, M&A, drafting and negotiation of a wide variety of critical commercial contracts, portfolio management and general corporate laws. She is a registered Patent Agent since the year 2005. She focuses on valuation of Patents & Brands and their role in M&A, IP Asset Management and Business Development, Strategic Investment on Patent portfolios, Competition Law aspects of IPR, Patent & Media-Entertainment Litigation.

In the past Ms. Soumili has worked with many prestigious companies and law firms like Dabur, Ranbaxy, Cambridge University Press India Pvt. Ltd., Fox Mandal, Khaitan & Co., and K&S Partners. She an alumnus of Columbia Business School, Columbia University, New York and has completed her M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Berhampur University, LL.B. from Chaudhary Charan Singh University and PGDIB from Symbiosis institute of Management Studies.

Her special expertise have been in advising and managing diverse IP portfolio involving patents, trademarks, copyright, designs and geographical indications which typically included, search & analytics, data mining and drafting, prosecution, opposition including enforcement and litigation before High Courts and IPAB, IP commercial transactional matters like licensing, strategic alliances and technology transfers, IP Audits and Due Diligences.
