Dr. Avinash Dadhich

Director /Dean at Manipal Law School (Ex - CCI, White & Case LLP, Deloitte and E&Y)

Dr. Avinash Dadhich has worked with the Competition Commission of India, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt of India, Ernst & Young (EY) Deloitte, and White & Case LLP Brussels on a number of high-profile investigations as an Expert in Competition Law. He has also worked with Gide Loyrette Nouel LLP, Paris, France & White & Case LLP, Brussels, Belgium.

Armed with a Ph.D in Competition Law on full scholarship from Bangor University, Wales, UK, he completed his Master of Laws (LL.M) with a focus on International and European Competition Law from Toulouse 1 Capitole University, Toulouse in France on a full scholarship awarded by the French Government and earned his first degree in Law (LL.B) from Delhi University.

In April 2015, Dr. Dadhich was invited by Department of States’, USA Government to visit New York, Washington DC, Iowa City, and San Francisco as Antitrust Fellow to meet senior people from Antitrust law authorities (FTC & DoJ), law firms, Supreme Court judges and business executives

Dr. Dadhich has also been a Visiting Scholar to various international universities of repute such as King’s College London, Max Planck Institute of IP and Competition Law, Munich, Germany and Institute of European Studies, Brussels, Belgium. He has also taught Competition law and IP at many prominent law colleges and Institutes including Toulouse Law School, France and the School of Competition Law & Regulation, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, and National Law University, Delhi.

He specializes in the area of Intellectual Property, Competition Law, and Legal Regulation in AI, Robotics, Cyber, and other emerging technologies laws.
