Mr. Amitava Chakraborty is an IPR, Space Law, Health-IT Laws and Technology Consultant with a versatile geographical exposure in India, US and EU. His primary areas of expertise includes IPR Prosecution & opposition, IP asset negotiations and relationship building in IPR consulting processes for startups, university funded projects etc. Having gained experience from US Counsels and leading boutique IP law firm in India, Amitava offers a rare blend of IP Analytic, Prosecution, Business Development and Negotiation, Technology Valuation, Advisory and e-discovery services across a wide range of industries. Being a Registered Indian Patent Agent, Mr. Chakraborty successfully prosecuted more than 460+ patent applications across different jurisdiction worldwide.

On the other side of the coin, Mr. Chakraborty is an inventor cum applicant with two patent applications in India and that work was duly published in Germany, US and UK. He also worked as an Assistant Professor at School of Law, KIIT University, Odisha, India. He associated with NLUO, Cuttack as a visiting faculty for IPR drafting. He also showed his multifaceted expertise as visiting professor in ‘IP law and Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)’ at KSOM, KIIT and Mentor cum Patent facilitator to KIIT-Technology Incubation Centre (KIIT-TBIC). Further Mr. Chakraborty is associated with MSME (Micro Small and Medium Enterprises), NRDC (National Research Development Corporation), Govt. of India for Patent/IPR promotion, and awareness programs in different states across India. He is also a motivational IP speaker and resource person at several National and International events.
